Dj khaled wild thoughts dance12/27/2023 ![]() There are two stories to the house and yellow = ethernet / black = coaxĪs you can see, there's only one splitter that I know of for sure. Maybe it's the ethernet port on my PC? It's an ASRock B550 Phantom ITX motherboardĪs for your other question about the topology, I'm not really good at those but this is my best shot at it I tested with my PC directly connected to the NVG468MQ LAN and I'm actually getting 750(ish) up/950(ish) down. I got tired and couldn't keep working on it last night. There's a coax cable going from the ONT to a splitter (Antronix MMC1002H-B) with one side going out into the wall and the other side going out to the Arris gateway.Īny suggestions on how I can integrate my MoCA 2.5 adapters here? Or can I? Or any other suggestions at all? This what I see in the box that the technician set up for us The catch is that we still need the Arris gateway (or at least I think we do) because we have TV. Well, now I have a couple MoCA 2.5 adapters in hand (which should work), but I'm confused about how I can integrate them into our setup. ![]() I explained the issue with us using MoCA and how that is our bottleneck, but they either won't listen or don't agree. I already tried working with Frontier, and as I was afraid, they refuse to provide us with a different gateway because the Arris NVG486MQ is "capable of 1Gbps" throughput. I've already been told that our bottleneck is the Arris gateway as standard MoCA 2.0. When directly connected to the Eero (or ESB6200), we only get 450-500 up/down. This coax line goes to an upstairs office where we have an Actiontec ESB6200 ("bonded" MoCA 2.0 adapter) hooked up to an Eero router. The technician who set us up gave us the Arris NVG468MQ modem/router gateway, which is standard MoCA 2.0. ![]() u/RoweDent created this awesome resource on network theoryįor reference, I've already posted about this issue over hereīasically, we have a 1Gbps up/1Gbps down plan with Frontier over fiber optic. u/tht1kidd_ has created a suggestion post regarding information everyone needs to provide when asking a question about their network There have been some excellent guides written in this sub, and we're always looking for more! ![]() The same goes for downvoting of comments or posts for "stupid questions" or not being as knowledgeable as others.
